Their selection of genres is great and it's AWESOME for the people who have "music stuck in their head" but no skills to create the sounds they want. You can just as easily create a 16 minute techno epic as you can a full orchestra musical score for an indie film your friend creates.

Behringer X1204USB 12-Channel Mixer Review

(More customer reviews)This little mixer has the professional quality I require and I'm using this mixer combined with Cubase 6 software. I am happy to be using this to finish up my vocals on a progressive rock project to be mixed by the famed Terry Brown(RUSH). The Mice Pres have a wonderful warm and forward quality to them. The ease of use of the board is helping me complete a few singles that I am working on to include a Rap tune that will be spit by a member of the famed band Digital Underground, and another to be sung by the #1 Billboard charting Latin pop star Viva Angelina Sky.
It was so easy to set up and begin working with. I exchange aif files with my clients and other musiles from around the world, that I work with, and everyone has mentioned they are loving the vocal sounds. I think it's the Mic Pres! The mix between studio applications and live possibilities are awesome, too. The portability gives one a lot of options. I received it in perfect timing for me to complete my session work that was in lockdown from my previous equipment breakdown. I ordered from the dealer, they shipped in in my desired timeframe, I had it hooked up and I was on a phone patch studio session on schedule! AWESOME!

(More customer reviews)The new Music Maker 16 comes with really cool new sounds and effects. For me the guitar amplifier Vandal se is the absolute highlight on this software! Furthermore I like the new option to play the instruments via the pc keyboard, with this I can play around and try some new melodies, if there is no midi keyboard close at hand.
5* because it is easy for beginners and extensive for pros (pros should have a look at the premium version of this software)!

(More customer reviews)You will see basically two kinds of reviews for the Lexicon Omega: Reviews from people who love the features and reviews from people who have had problems with the unit. This is because the Omega has some very serious quality control issues with their overseas manufacturing.
I have read many user reviews and have found that as many as 1 out of 4 people have had problems that make this device unusable. If you happen to get a good unit it will be great for a home studio or even a portable system that you can take on the road. Unfortunately many, many units have hardware defects. These cause the unit to disconnect, corrupt the host computer, and add digital noise to the mix.
Some people mistakenly believe that this is a driver issue or a configuration issue. Lexicon tech support will try to lead you down this path before they admit the quality problems. Don't believe it. I have done software and hardware engineering for almost 25 years and I can assure you that if your Omega unit acts erratically, it is most likely a hardware failure. Send it back and insist that they fix it while it is still under warranty.
