I heard alot of good things about this pedal from various people i know, so i went ahead and purchased it. My first impressions were that this was not a bad pedal at all. I used to have the original crybaby wah which i loved, and when that started breaking down i decided to try this one. Compared to the Original, the sweep on the wylde pedal was a little more "harsh", for lack of a better term. What i mean by that is that when the pedal is engaged and my toe is down, the sound i get just seems real treblish, which normally i love but this one is so treblish, that its almost painful to hear when holding them for longer then a 16th note or so. Now obviously with zakk being as good as he is, he doesn't usually hold a note for more then that long anyway so its not as huge a problem for him, but unless your playing some crazy shredding piece you may need to back off on the wah a little bit using the wylde crybaby. The thing I loved about this pedal though was the construction and the look of it. Its made of extremely strong metal, that looks like its sanded or something of that sort to give it a more intense look. In short this thing is built like a tank, i could probably throw this off the top of a house and have it be fine. Overall, this is a great pedal for someone who likes to all out shred but for someone looking for a more gentle or warmer sounding wah this maybe isn't for you.
