(More customer reviews)To be honest, I had my doubts. I purchased the pickup based on curiosity and the slew of positive reviews. I just wanted to see if the 57 Classic Plus was all it's hyped up to be. I mean, how good can 1 pickup be, right?
Installed in my 80s Yamaha SG1000...there was a noticeable difference! Everything that was missing in terms of tone is now there. The 57 Classic Plus is smooth, creamy and just a joy to play. It's just a sweet sounding, slightly hot pickup. It retains clarity and is just so buttery. I don't know how it'd work in another guitar but for the moment, I am happy.
